    Rumba is a great romantic Latin dance that is pretty easy to learn.  You don’t need any experience for this class.  We’ll provide plenty of time to practice your rumba moves, especially with music so you can feel comfortable with this dance.

    Hustle Lesson & Practice Dance – 6/9

    We are into our summer schedule now with a 30 minute lesson followed by a 90 minute practice dance when we turn down the lights and let you practice the dance of the week along with all the other dances.  This week’s dance is the easy, upbeat hustle – a great dance to get you started in dancing because it is so easy and hustle music just makes you smile.

    Our summer schedule provides a great time to practice, with plenty of floor space so you can review steps you’ve learned to get those moves into muscle memory and do some fine tuning.  We’re available if you need help remembering how to execute a move.

    Partners are not required.

    We’ll have snacks and munchies.  Water is available.  Please bring any soft drinks you might prefer.

    Time to dance a little, chat a little and snack a little.  Enjoy the summer time pace.

    Thursday Evening Beginner Hustle Class

    Hustle is an upbeat & happy dance – it’s even hard not to smile when dancing hustle.  It’s also known as the old disco dance.  But there’s nothing all that old about hustle (or disco) because of all the contemporary songs that have the perfect beat for dancing hustle and just beg you to get up and dance.

    If you’re looking for a fun and easy dance to learn – this is it.  It’s one of the easiest dances to learn.

    No experience necessary – we’ll teach you everything you need to know and provide plenty of time and music in class to practice.

    The theme for this dance is Patriotic and Country Dance, since it is flag day.

    DJ music provided by Donna.  Dancing begins at 3:00 pm and wraps up at 6:00 pm.  We’ll have a good mix of country music, patriotic music, and everything else.  We’ll have some fun mixers to meet and dance with others.

    Feel free to bring snacks to share or for your table. Water provided along with desserts, cheese, crackers, country pork and fixings. Please bring your own soft drinks.  This is an alcohol free event.

    Price is $20.

    We ask that if you host a table, please let us know the names of all who will be sitting at your table.  Also, please let us know if you would like a singles’ table seating so we can ensure enough seats are reserved for singles.

    Attire – This is the perfect time to get out those red, white and blue clothes or country clothes, cowboy hats, big belt buckles and boots to celebrate our great country.  Actually, just pick out something that is comfy for getting on the floor to dance.
