These two are AMAZING!!! If you live in the New River Valley and want a dance lesson – go see Dave and Donna! I do not have enough great things to say about these people! My fiancé and I are learning our first dance so we are doing private lessons with them and it is a blast. They are very welcoming, kind, and make you feel comfortable and at ease even if you’ve never danced before. I HIGHLY recommend these two!

My wife and I have been taking ballroom dance classes from Donna and Dave for years both as beginners and intermediate dancers. We have learned a tremendous variety of ballroom dance patterns from them, with rumba and hustle being our favorites. They always teach their classes with a smile on their faces, and give personal instruction when you need it. They also host dance parties that allow you to practice your moves, always looking to help you and your partner improve. Dave and Donna’s ballroom dance classes have brought us closer together as a couple, which we appreciate very much.

We have been taking classes from Dave & Donna for some years now and continue to do so. Even though we have been dancing a while we still learn great new moves and technique. From our start in dance to the present they have been great instructors. Classes are fun and what a great price. There are no contracts and you pay as you go. It is cheaper than going to a movie. It is also really beneficial to the student to have both of them in the class. In other classes we haven taken we had one instructor doing both the male and female parts. It makes a difference. If you are thinking about learning to dance give them a try. You won’t be disappointed.

I’m very thankful for Dave & Donna – “The Dancing Duo”. I started taking their dance classes 3 years ago as a form of physical therapy. I could only dance a few minutes at a time before I had to sit down but they and their students were very welcoming and accepting which is a big plus for someone who is disabled. In addition to receiving a lot of encouragement, Dave & Donna are focused on meeting the variety of needs for all of their students regardless of their dance experience — striving to make sure that new students don’t get lost while ensuring that experienced students are learning new steps. Some people only want to dance with their spouse or significant other, other people are single or enjoy rotating partners to increase their skill level — Dave and Donna allow this flexibility without making anyone feel self-conscious. They also will dance with the students at classes and dances to make sure that everyone gets a chance to dance. Their classes and dances are always light hearted, fun occasions for socializing, improving your dancing skills and getting some great exercise!

We have been taking private, semi-private, and group lessons from Dave and Donna for many years. We enjoy their classes — they are fun, easy to follow, and a great way to learn and get involved in social dancing. They organize a variety of dance events, so there are lots of opportunities to practice what you have learned in their classes. Compared to what local dance studios charge, their lessons are a bargain. We always recommend D & D to our friends who are interested in learning ballroom dance.

I have enjoyed dancing with Dave and Donna. They are friendly and patient to help new dancers find joy in dance. As a strictly social dancer I’m always looking for great lessons and gatherings – they have been a wealth of knowledge and connections.

Great Christmas dance, thanks for arranging that. Good music, lots of people to dance with, good food, nice dance floor….almost forgot the mixers. What more could one ask?
